Counseling for Anxiety

Anxiety is so difficult to live with and can be very confusing to try to navigate alone. Anxiety happens when the brain responds to non-threatening stimuli with a fear response that triggers many different symptoms in the body. The brain is tricking the body into feeling that they are in danger, when they are not, and the body responds.

Anxiety disorders are one of the most common psychological problems, so if you are experiencing anxiety, know that you are not alone. You are probably surrounded by people right now who are struggling with anxiety and you do not even realize it. Anxiety can be caused by many different factors and present in many different ways. The good news is that anxiety is one of the most treatable problems. So there is hope that you will start feeling much better.

Psychotherapy for anxiety is an effective and successful way to get the help you need to manage your symptoms. Clients learn tools to allow them to navigate day to day challenges that cause them to feel anxious. The goal is to no longer feel that your life is overrun by anxiety and to be able to make room for happiness and peace.
